Luckily I didn't commit to running on my first running log post. I got the chance to try out my new shoes only just now. The shoes were responsive, light but I don't find the support thorough. Overall, its a very good investment provided I can sustain this interest. Hopefully next year, with proper training, I can run/walk full marathon (maybe?) with the MPU gang.
I broke up my jog today into 9 separate rounds around the track. I varied my steps, trying to discover ways to reduce stress on my right knee. My right leg is working harder than my left currently. Don't really wish to overstrain my knee for running to a point I can't even walk when im damn old. My stamina suck too. I can't maintain even short distance, therefore I need to run more regularly and lose more weight to make my runs easier. (edit: my tights are suffering stinging pain and ache from the startup run. must work my muscles more to let them get used to the pain)
Anyw, running on Friday is rewarding because there was an eye-candy at the track. She was quite cute, but she seems older than me. She was training for her sprints and she looked really intimidating with her spikes. Had to act act a bit to prevent her from finding out that im one lazy fat ass who just started 'running'. Will be going to track next week to see whether she is a regular.
Running seems to be able to generate fun. Shall run more to find out.
